Dr. G. Viswanathan, Founder and Chancellor of VIT University, India, is an inspiring leader. He excelled in academics and pursued degrees in Economics and Law, later completing a program at Harvard. As a political leader, he served in Parliament, advocating for public welfare. He was also elected to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and served as a Minister for the state of Tamil Nadu. In 1984, he established VIT, transforming it into a globally recognized institution with world-class education. VIT is consistently ranked among the top private universities in India and is in the top 100 in the World for Data Science & AI, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence and innovation. Dr. Viswanathan's contributions extend to social welfare and community development initiatives to uplift the underprivileged.

Dr. Sekar Viswanathan, with over 30 years of experience in industry and academia, played a key role in the growth of VIT University, India. A rank holder in Electronics and Communication Engineering, he earned his Master’s from RIT, USA, and a Ph.D. from the University of Madras. He also has leadership experience at IBM and Walmart. He is responsible for key academic reforms like flexible credit system, international collaborations and more. As Vice President, he focuses on university strategy, international relations, and student development. He has received prestigious awards for his contributions to education and also serves on national higher education committees.

Dr. Sandhya, with over 30 years of experience in product development, engineering management, and academia, has contributed significantly to both industry and education. She played key roles at Yodlee, Walmart, and Intuit, leading large-scale software development and pioneering financial applications. She serves as an Executive Director of VIT Vellore, Board of Governors of VIT-AP and Vice President of VIT-Bangalore. Passionate about improving education quality, she focuses on innovation, research, and student-centric learning. She firmly believes in transforming lives through excellence in education, continuous improvement, and compassion.
